About Me

Coach Danny Matranga

MY story

I found fitness through sport as a youth. it quickly became an obsession. That fascination rapidly spread from the practical, to the intellectual. Before i knew it, i was lifting for hours a day and reading the latest muscle and fitness articles between sets.

Over the years, that process became more refined, and after high school i went to college to pursue a degree in the field of my newfound obsession. my undergraduate work in kinesiology was not enough stimulation for my insatiable desire to learn about fitness, health, and wellness. I began coaching in 2013, while in school, and have not looked back. I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of clients, and traveling the country learning from the best experts in the fields of strength and conditioning, mobility, nutrition and more - always polishing and refining my craft.

My desire to grow, learn, and develop is at the core of my coaching philosophy, and the driving force that keeps me energized and excited after all these years.

Philosophy

My approach to coaching is built what I call the “3 E’s”.

Engagement: I am committed to being there for you to help you through this process through enthusiasm, accountability, and communication. There are no days off in a coaching relationship, and nothing is off limits if it is going to make you better.

Education: I have a personal goal of getting ALL my clients to be self-sufficient with their fitness. I educate my clients as much as possible every step of the way and answer all questions upon request.

Empathy: I care about my clients. Not just their fitness, but as PEOPLE. I will respect your goals, and respect our relationship as coach client, always bringing my best attitude to every interaction, and supporting you throughout our coaching relationship.
